This dinner portion at the original Borinquen Restaurant included a hearty jibarito bistec with tomato, lettuce, cheese, and garlic mayo with a side of Spanish rice ($5.95). I ate it all with a side of bread & butter and relentless Puerto Rican coffee.
The meal was delicious for under $10, including coffee and tip. Let’s not count calories today.
